We will make the recruitment process easy for you. CDC will upgrade your C class licence for free and help you get your Driver’s Authority to carry passengers and operate our fleet of buses. As a bus driver with us, lifelong friendships are formed, and you would be a welcome and valued addition to our team.

Joining our professional and award-winning bus-driving family provides an exciting opportunity for drivers having a keen interest to partake in industrial employee transport and well as being appointed to a school roster.
Rosters will alternate on a weekly basis between charter work and school bus runs. Proposed charter work would offer the following:
- Varied hours from 4-9 hours per day.
- Split shifts across a seven (7) day week, commencing as early at 1.00 am.
- Journeys of 100 kms plus.
A market leader in modern safety technology, CDC’s buses and coaches are well-maintained and air-conditioned for your comfort, enjoyment, and wellbeing. You can opt for urban, school services, charters, or a combination of all three.
Remember, if you have yet to drive a bus, we will pay you well while providing extensive on-the-job training to make you a very confident, safe, and accomplished bus driver for our company.
About you
CDC will consider a number of options as far as your skills and experience are concerned because we have plenty of work and lots of opportunities for you in Queensland and other states.
Here is a snapshot of some of what we need from you:
- Current driver's licence and a good driving record
- Current MR licence or higher
- Current Queensland Drivers Authority or ability to get one
- Current blue card for working with children or ability to get one
- Any bus driving or heavy vehicle experience would be great but not essential
- A good manner and the ability to interact with customers of all ages and abilities
