The Role
This is a full-time role for a Research Chemist located in Western Sydney, NSW. The Research Chemist will conduct laboratory work to develop and improve surface coatings, execute quality control processes to ensure compliance with regulations, and apply analytical skills to evaluate product properties. The Research Chemist will also contribute to research and development efforts to create innovative coating solutions.
About you...
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in an R&D Chemist role.
- Experience in the surface coatings industry, tint coating formulations.
- Laboratory Skills and Analytical Skills
- Quality Control experience in an industrial laboratory or manufacturing environment
- Research and Development (R&D) experience in an industrial setting
- Ability to conduct research and analyise data to develop new coatings and improve existing products
- Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- An unwavering commitment to Workplace OH&S
- Tertiary qualified preferably with a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering with a strong component of formal training in organic chemistry.
- Alternatively, degree qualifications in manufacturing technologies or industrial engineering may be considered.
