Jaydo Construction is an Australian owned company specialising in Contracting and Construction Services in Water, Sewerage & Drainage Infrastructure for in excess of 30 years. Due to constant growth in major Water Infrastructure contracts we have recently expanded to include a Jaydo Electrical and Engineering Services (JEES) team.
Our JEES division has secured work on 2 major Victorian water authority boards, and our pipeline of new project works provides the foundation for this role.
About the role
JEES are now recruiting for enthusiastic, self-motivated Industrial Electrical Engineer with experience in Switchboard Design, looking to work in the commercial/industrial Water Infrastructure space.
You will be working with our dedicated team of skilled personnel who take a hands-on approach to the delivery of our projects, guaranteeing results.
Your position with JEES will be working with project managers and estimators assisting them with design, technical and project administration support on Water Infrastructure and industrial projects.
Your role will include the following:
- Assisting with the management of electrical projects.
- Design and drafting switchboards (AutoCAD)
- Preparation of safety, quality and environment documentation specific to each project.
- Provide support in the selection and procurement of equipment.
- Assist with estimating and cost tracking of projects.
Individuals with switchboard, motor controls and drafting will be held in high regard.

Skills and experience
- Electrical Switchboards and components.
- Control wiring and switchboard wiring.
- PLC, I/O's, Control Relays and Indicators
- Cable Trays, Ducts, Conduits and other cable support systems
- Experience in the use of AutoCAD is a must.
- 2-3 years' experience
A relevant recognised tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering or similar.
