AddressGBL Systems is a family owned and operated Abrasive Blasting and Industrial Painting company based in Naval Base, WA who have been operating since 1993. We have recently expanded and are currently seeking experienced Industrial Painter who can specialise in finish coatings to join our growing team. The suitable candidate for this role must have strong knowledge and experience in the industry and a ‘can do’ attitude.
About the Role:
- You will be required to compete industrial painting in a busy workshop environment
- Painting finish coats on truck trailers, tanks, structural steel
- Painting of Tanks- Internal and External, Structural Steel, Piping etc
- You must have experience painting to specification, finish coats and ultra high builds
- Must have experience spraying with an Airless and Conventional pump
- You may be required to work in confined spaces, at heights and in challenging environments
- Sandblasting to required class of blast
- Sandblasting with different blast mediums
- trouble shoot and complete maintenance on equipment
- You may be required to work on various sites in the Perth Metro area
Suitable candidates MUST have the following:
- Applicants should demonstrate (3+ years) credible experience of Industrial Sandblasting and Painting, painting to specification and produce Quality work
- Experience painting in Workshop environments, Marine, Working Plant and Shut Down environments
- Have the skills and knowledge to trouble shoot problems and fix equipment
Tickets and Qualifications (preferable to have)
- Hold a nationally accredited OHS card (White/Blue card)- MUST HAVE
- EWP Ticket
- Working at Heights Certificates (Current within last two years)
- Confined Space certificates (Current within the last two years)
- Minimum of a C Class License
- HR Drivers licence would be a bonus

- Have the skills and ability to be able to work unsupervised
- Be adaptable in a challenging environment
- Ability to pass Drug and Alcohol Screens and Pre-Employment Medicals
- Reside in Perth
- Right to Work in Australia (Mandatory)
