We are seeking a motivated individual, to support the HMA Wear Solutions team across the mining and industrial sectors. As a market leader in this field, we have been supplying and manufacturing specialised ceramic wear resistant linings and systems in Australia for over 40 years.

THE ROLE

You will be working with an established team to ceramic line steel fabricated equipment.

The primary task of this position is the marking out, cutting, and installation of ceramic wear components. Employee must be able to rotate between cutting and laying in a variety of work postures as well as operating cutting machines.

• Maintain workshop safety and follow company safety procedures.
• Mark up Tiles to required size and length.
• Cutting of Tiles on brick saws.
• Mixing of Epoxy adhesive.
• Application of adhesive.
• Position tiles on the appropriate area as instructed on the work order.
• Maintain a clean, efficient, and safe workspace.
• Able to read and comprehend work orders, CAD Drawings, and site issued drawings. Training provided.
• Pack completed jobs on assigned shipping equipment to HMA and client standard.
• Use Forklift and Overhead Gantry. Training provided.
• Use of small hand tools.
• PPE will be provided to the successful candidate.

Other duties will include:

• Cleaning of the workshop and warehouse.
• Receiving stock items and storing in their assigned location.
• Maintenance of all tools and machinery.
• Delivery & Pick-up of goods from surrounding suppliers in company vehicle.

 Desired Qualifications

• Forklift Ticket.
• Confined Space ticket.
• Crane Ticket.
• Pipe fabrication experience.
• Rubber lining experience.

• National Police Clearance (within the last year).
• Current Valid Driver’s License.
