Are you looking for a high-impact role where you can make a real difference?
Then this is the role for you!
The Australian Industry Trade College (AITC) is unlike any other senior school. We’re for young people who seek a deliberately different educational experience. An industry-driven one. For those who want to learn in the classroom, within workplaces, and on the job. We’re for those young people who seek to start building real-world strengths and skills now, not only in the future.
We are looking for an Industry Program Manager (internally known as an Industry Operations Manager) to join our Redlands campus. In this role, you will work closely with the Campus Leadership Team to deliver a deliberately different industry-driven senior secondary program.
Key outcomes include:

Ensuring the College aligned Industry Education program is industry-driven incorporating the voice of industry.
Effectively managing industry work placements in line with College policies and procedures.
Overseeing the effective implementation of allocated industry-related programs, including the Rookies program, TAFE pre-vocational pathways, Electrical Preparation Pathway, and Academy programs.
Ensuring a College-aligned program of industry education is delivered in a manner that provides real value and tangible outcomes for our young people, in an environment where they can thrive and succeed.
Leading a culture of safety and continuous improvement through constant conversation and action.
Providing the very best industry-driven learning and exemplary industry-standard experiences for young people, employers, and the communities we serve.
Delivering, developing, and maintaining quality within the Industry Education program, throughout all stages of the young person’s journey.
Our values play a critical role in cultivating culture. They set the standards for how we behave, interact with others, make decisions, and choose to act. They are:
Think progressively
Take courageous action
Achieve inspiring outcomes

Succeed collectively

The following qualifications and experience are essential for this position:
Relevant qualification or degree and/or professional experience.

Aspirational and inspirational leadership capability with the ability to influence and lead by example.
Experience managing quality systems and processes.
Experience designing and delivering innovative ways to challenge, and problem-solve.
Current valid driver's licence and Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
Ability to demonstrate and champion the AITC values
Right to work in Australia
We value and recognise our people through a range of benefits including superannuation matching after a qualifying period, access to corporate rate health insurance, staff discounts through PerkBox, Employee Assistance Programs, and flu vaccinations to name a few.
