The Infectious Disease unit are seeking a temporary Consultant to join the team until November 2024.
- The position is 0.7 EFT (56 Hours) per fortnight, temporary part-time
- Attend a range of clinics (2 per week) which may include Tuberculosis, HIV, Viral Hepatitis and General Infectious Diseases
- Complete ward service and after-hours on call as rostered
- Complete an Antimicrobial Stewardship round once a week.
- Provide advice and support to the Infection Prevention team
- Contract end date 17th November 2024
To be Successful in this Role you
- Have FRACP with accreditation in Infectious Diseases
- Current Australian medical registration and credential for the position (Specialist Year 1 – 6)
- Can demonstrate an ability to make decisions and support rationale and clearly communicate decisions to relevant parties
- Have a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team
- Have a passion for providing expert care within public health in the west
