Your new role
A Communications Manager is required to join this Program to lead the strategic planning and delivery of communications and marketing, stakeholder engagement and consultation, project communication, creative and digital assets production, and issues and reputation management.
This role will also work closely with the Organisational Change Management lead, to align the Communication and OCM strategies, and ensure OCM communications are integrated throughout all products, messaging and engagements.
Key responsibilities:
- Leading the strategic planning and delivery of all communications activities required across the Program’s five projects, including communications and marketing, stakeholder engagement and consultation, project communication, creative and digital assets production, and issues and reputation management.
- Align this communications work with Organisational Change Management needs, to ensure stakeholders are not only informed, but supported through change.
- Ensure the cadence, consistency and quality of messaging and materials being delivered across all five projects are aligned and in accordance with the Program’s strategic requirements.
- Build a ‘brand’ for the Program that instils a sense of confidence, quality and relevance in stakeholders.
What you'll need to succeed
- Significant experience planning, developing and delivering the full spectrum of communications activities (as identified above under ‘Tasks and Activities’) within large, complex organisations.
- Significant experience in stakeholder engagement, working with multiple and diverse stakeholder groups concurrently
- Demonstrated experience leading the communications function for large projects and/or programs, with experience in ICT projects considered favourably.
- Demonstrated experience in supporting the successful delivery of the OCM strategy.
- Skilled in creating diagrams and visual representations of workflows and complex concepts to enable user engagement and understanding
- Ability to communicate in plain language, simplifying and targeting messaging to meet various stakeholders’ information needs.
- Ability to produce various types of media including but not limited to website, video, PowerPoint, workshop materials to support engagement and change management activities.
- Exceptional grasp of the English language, with excellent writing and verbal communication skills, tailored to suit audience and mode of delivery.
- Exceptional attention to detail and unwavering focus on consistency in messaging and brand.
- Demonstrated ability to self-manage with competing priorities.
