Job description:
The Information Management Project Officer will provide a wide range of administration and project support contributing to the delivery of effective, efficient and quality corporate Information Management. The role will have a focus on the management of corporate electronic and hard copy information, including the management of retention and disposal activities.

Duties
Creation, retention, disposal and archiving of corporate information in compliance with the State Archives Act 1983 and the department’s Information Management policy, processes and procedures.
Effective management of electronic and hard copy information to ensure information integrity and security, including applying Business Classification Scheme (BCS) terms (labels) to records in the Electronic Document and Records Management System (EDRMS) and in Microsoft 365 (M365).
Assist with the development and implementation of various Information Management Project related activities, including the upgrade of the EDRMS.
Undertake system testing and analysis related to new products, features and upgrades.
Provide support to other related Corporate Information Support projects and bodies of work.
Desirable Requirements
Completion of or progress towards a certificate in Records Management or equivalent
