About the Role

The Business Performance Group is focused on developing and managing the core capabilities that underpin the effective and efficient operation of the organisation. The Group comprises of five branches, Business Development, Procurement and Contracts, People and Culture, Digital Information Services, Finance and Property Management.

The Information Management Systems Analyst participates in the delivery of data and Information Management solutions helping to capture and analyse information needs across the organisation.

Primarily, you will:

  • Lead the system support of the eDRMS Content Manager and other Information Management (IM) systems
  • Assist the Information Management Specialist to provide issue resolution for server-level eDRMS and IM application problems
  • Lead business system analysis and process improvement to enable best practice Information Management across Council.
  • Provide expert advice to the Information Management Team Leader in information architecture, integrations, and information governance.

About you

As a professional in this field, you will have strong organisational skills and demonstrated knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation including QLD Local Government Act, Right to Information act (RTI), Information Privacy Act (Qld) and Public Records Act (Qld).

Essential for your success in this role you will have demonstrated experience in the administration and support of an eDRMS Content Manager. You will possess skills and experience supporting IM systems and processes, in particular, eDRMS Content Manager, Microsoft365, Avepoint Cloud Governance and network drives.

Your demonstrated expertise in systems thinking, business systems analysis and design and information governance will see you provide a valuable contribution to the continual uplift of councils Information Management maturity.

As a requirement of this role, you will possess tertiary qualification/s in Information Management and/or information technology and/or extensive experience and demonstrated record of achievement in delivering high quality support to an emerging Information Management Practice.
