About the Role:
We have a fantastic opportunity for a technology professional to join our team. This leadership role is responsible for the strategic oversight of the IT department to ensure that the College’s staff, students and families are provided high-quality support in relation to their Technology needs. It is a pivotal role in combining IT services and pedagogical practice. The successful candidate must combine both their IT knowledge as well as their strong capacity to engage with teaching staff in order to form intentional connections, to ensure the effective utilisation of the College’s Learning Management System and IT services. This role is also critical in ensuring that the College is prepared for the future impacts of new technology, cyber security and AI integration.
To be successful in this position, you will have the following:
• Degree in IT or related field
• Experience working within an IT Department
• Experience working with network hardware and software
• Teaching qualification highly regarded but not essential
• Leadership and/Project Management experience highly regarded
• Experience with cyber security highly regarded
• Experience working with a range of operating systems (Windows, iOS and OSX)
• Experience using business software (Word processors, spreadsheets, presentations, databases)
• Current Positive Notice Blue Card for Child Related Employment, or ability to obtain one
• Strong communication, teamwork and customer service skills
• Ability to work within strict deadlines and in a fast-paced environment
