Form of work About The Role As an Information Security Officer for Auswide Bank, you will possess specialist Information Security skills for the purpose of securing technology systems and assets. This role covers a broad spectrum of functions including design and administration of complex technical systems and network security related to technology. This role will also assist with the attainment of SLA’s, disaster recovery and other metrics as required from the Bank. Key Responsibilities: Assist with identifying and reviewing emerging cyber threats and implement mitigation solutions Advise and challenge change management and project activities that impact the Bank’s security posture Conduct real time monitoring, analysis and triage of security events and alerts from multiple sources Detect, identify, investigate and manage malicious patterns on our network Escalate and triage security alerts, where applicable Monitor the health of security “sensors”, controls and countermeasures through observations and effective resolutions As well as having highly developed Information Security, communication and time management skills, you will also need to: Be self motivated and able to work efficiently & effectively both independently and within a team Collaborate with other personnel and external partners Possess the ability to identify the need to delegate or escalate tasks, where necessary Be available for any out of hours schedules or unscheduled duties, as required A desire to grow and develop within Auswide Bank Relevant tertiary and industry qualifications will be highly regarded.
