About the opportunity
Reporting to the CEO, this role is a great opportunity for a driven and strategic leader to join the Corporate Services team to lead the IT function and is responsible for the leadership, management and development of information and communication technology strategies. This role is critical in delivering key strategic objectives involving the enablement of technology to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of operations across Bentleys SA in a secure digital environment. The successful candidate will have knowledge and experience in the application of the latest developments and best practices in Gen AI, tools, and techniques to drive continuous improvement to meet the overall growing complex digital needs of the business. This role is responsible for the cybersecurity of the organisation, developing and implementing security strategies as well as managing existing hardware to ensure technical efficiency and productivity.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Actively engaging in the strategy, planning and implementation of IT projects, including change management and stakeholder engagement
- Contribute to the organisation’s strategic direction, digital transformation and cyber needs
- Provide IT leadership and advice to the CEO, partner group and wider firm
- Management of IT governance and compliance, including policies, procedures, risk, BCP and security
- Managing vendor relationships, support agreements and budget preparation
- Leading internal IT support and providing technical support, including maintaining the IT infrastructure (servers, networking and cyber security)
- Managing key business applications and systems, both on premise and cloud based, along with hardware assets, AV and telephony
- Overseeing the efficient and effective onboarding and offboarding of staff
- Developing and maintaining user and technical documentation
- Assisting the team to meet key performance indicators
- Delivery of projects on time and on budget
- Undertake out of hours work as required
About You:
The successful candidate will be qualified and have proven experience in system integration and implementation and delivering IT solutions, ideally in professional services, private practice or medium-sized businesses. Knowledge of platforms such as Microsoft Windows OS, Azure AD and Office 365, Dynamics, hyper-converged platforms and data centre infrastructure, firewalls, networking and wireless technologies, as well as experience implementing and managing outsourced contracts for IT services is required. As a key player in the corporate services team, the successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to be hands-on, leading by example and taking the team on the journey.
Your Skills:
- A minimum of 7 years' experience delivering professional IT services
- Qualifications in Information Technology, Computer Science or relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated experience in IT strategy, cyber security and process improvement
- Sound analytical, problem-solving skills and decision-making capabilities
- Knowledge and experience with a wide range of technologies including Cloud, IT infrastructure, Communications, AV and video conferencing facilities, Mobile Devices, Security and Applications.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including report & policy writing
