About the Role
We are seeking an ICT Manager to join our team in Adelaide. The successful applicant will take responsibility and accountability for all aspects of the ICT functions across AusHealth. The role is responsible for secure and efficient delivery of all IT and act as a support function for ICT systems.
The ICT Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping the technological direction to meet AusHealth’s strategic plan. This position requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in vendor management, Cloud, and security.
What you will bring:
As a successful person in this role, you will:
• Lead the ICT function across AusHealth and in conjunction with the Managing Director, develop and deliver the ICT strategic plan.
• Provide technical support on hardware and software issues including computers, mobile devices, communications issues, remote access, and software programs.
• Manage and Maintain ongoing ICT network and data security testing procedures, in conjunction with external partners.
• Maintain all software to latest versions and undertake patching in a timely manner.
• Manage the company’s AWS and Microsoft environment.
• Manage the acquisition, configuration, and deployment of ICT equipment within company guidelines, as required.
• Identify and act on opportunities to improve and update software and systems.
• Develop and maintain Service Desk Procedures.
• Establish and review ICT Managed Services Agreements with key suppliers.
• Oversee the maintenance of software licencing records and maintain ICT registers.
• Contribute to the development of ICT knowledge across the organisation.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Commercial IT qualification or Degree in related field
Essentials:
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role
• Demonstrated experience in the management of cloud environments.
• Sound Knowledge of MS platforms
• Focused on supporting the needs of the business.
• Occasional after-hours work
• Excellent Problem-solving skills and ability to think laterally.
