We are currently recruiting for a full time Information Technology and Communications Manager (ICT Manager) for a small to medium sized professional services firm in the heart of the Adelaide CBD. This firm requires the expertise of someone who can take on an internal role that will support the entire company with the ICT support function.
 
Due to the nature of the role, as the go to point for all ICT matters in the company you will experience a great deal of variety, autonomy and diversity and get involved with a variety of projects related to software and hardware upgrades over time.
 
The Position…
Reporting to the Operations Manager this role is responsible for managing and providing the most effective internal service to the teams on the day-to-day ICT support across the entire organisation of approximately 60 staff. This will include; ICT helpdesk support and troubleshooting, hardware management, project coordination, ICT training, offboarding and onboarding for ICT requirements, application support, among others.

 
DAY TO DAY:
 
ICT Support desk

  • General Infrastructure administration - You will be responsible for troubleshooting and problem-solving ICT issues across the business.
  • Provide high levels of service to staff in regards to computer hardware, software, networks, systems, printers, phone systems and scanners
  • Responsible for managing the ICT support desk on a day to day basis
  • Manage Windows and Office 365, including Outlook and Exchange
  • Intranet and website maintenance
  • Maintenance of the internal Document Management systems
  • Develop and coordinate IT Projects and IT Strategy for the company
Staff Enablement:
  • Ensuring all staff are equipped with the technical tools they need to work most efficiently
  • Provide guidance to staff and help them build their skills in IT
  • Ensure new staff are inducted with regards to company IT requirements
  • Ensure the offboarding and onboarding process is complete
IT Projects:
  • Working closely with the executive team you will be responsible for overseeing a number of IT projects including system upgrades;
  • Provide stakeholders with whole of company ICT recommendations and assist with the planning for the execution of these projects.
We are looking for:
We are looking for an experienced ICT Manager or someone who has worked at the senior ICT level who wants to take the next step. Similarly, we would look at someone who wants take a step back and work for a small to medium sized company and impart their experience and knowledge.
 
The ideal person…
  • An ICT professional who prides themselves on their service standards
  • A bachelor’s degree in IT, network engineering or computer science
  • 2 – 3 years experience at ICT Manager or Senior ICT level looking for the next step
  • Experience with managing computer systems and computer system upgrades
  • Experience working in a role where you are the go-to ICT support person
  • Proven experience with inhouse servers and Microsoft Office 365
  • A thorough, practical knowledge of desktop technology - PCs, laptops, mobile phones, desk IP phones;
  • Thorough understanding of cyber security and its principles
  • Experience working with servers and networking administration
  • Experience with Office 365 and backup software
  • Advanced ICT troubleshooting skills
  • Advanced ICT range of computer systems and software knowledge
