About the team
The Infrastructure Advisory pillar sit within the wider team of Infrastructure and Project Solutions (IPS). This team operates at the intersection of government and private sectors, working closely with clients such as State and Federal Government and Defence, from the start to the finish of an infrastructure or system-based project or through the provision of services to meet government priorities. Whether it's delivering the infrastructure that connects, educates, or protects our nation, our team is at the forefront. We provide a range of services to support our clients throughout the project lifecycle, including investment strategy, business reviews and planning, project feasibility assessments, commercial strategy, contract design and risk allocation, procurement design and delivery, financial analysis and structuring to find the right delivery partners and project delivery to support our clients in implementation.
Who will you be working with?
As part of Deloitte's Financial Advisory practice, our IPS team is looking for team members with an interest in infrastructure and public policy. IPS focusses on serving our clients in inspirational, impactful, and innovative ways, whether it be around policy and funding, transactions and commercial advice, operational transformation or project management.
We think about whole projects and whole outcomes for clients and society; thinking about infrastructure that is accessible, inclusive and constantly adapting to our changing environment, needs and preferences.
The IPS offering coves the entire life cycle of an infrastructure project, grouped into four main pillars:
Infrastructure Advisory (known internally as Business Case & Strategy) - Shaping, optimising and managing business cases and strategy.
Real Estate Advisory (known internally as Commercial & Transactions) - Structuring your project for maximum value and success.
Project Management and Delivery (known internally as Project Advisory & Delivery) - Providing integrated project and development solutions for our clients.
Health and Human Services (known internally as Operational Transformation) - Driving change for improved outcomes and enhanced delivery for stakeholders.
Enough about us, let's talk about you.
We are looking for someone with:
A degree in any of the following areas: Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, Law or a combination
A strong interest in Government, public policy and economics
Comfortable with numbers and data analytics
An excellent communicator - you're articulate and possess strong writing skills
Drive and a strong passion for learning
Australian permanent residency or Australian/New Zealand Citizenship.
