Do you get a buzz out of delivering large scale projects? Then join us as our Infrastructure Project Manager - Quality Water for Wannon a 5 year full-time contract.
The Quality Water for Wannon program is one of our most ambitious projects, with the goal of delivering great tasting Water for Portland, Port Fairy and Heywood.
We want our customers in these communities to have access to, and use, better quality tap water. This requires new capital infrastructure, a behaviour change program and community engagement.
Generous salary package to be negotiation based on demonstrated ability, qualifications, and skills. Starting at $96,568 p.a. plus superannuation.
Job DescriptionWhat you'll be doing
On a day-to-day basis, you'll:
- Investigate, survey, coordinate design deliverables and oversee engineering works associated with the Quality Water for Wannon program.
- Support the Quality Water for Wannon program in the implementation of specific technical capital works projects.
- Preparing and administering various infrastructure steps of the projects, with the support of the Program Manager Quality Water for Wannon
- Manage a range of internal and external stakeholder relationship, to achieve successful outcomes for the project.
What you'll bring
We're looking for someone with:
- A tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Process Engineering, Project Management or Contract Management is desired but not essential, where significant experience in a related field can be demonstrated.
- Experience in planning and approvals and providing specialist technical advice on legislative and policy requirements to support project planning, construction, and operation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the focus and desire to build effective working relationships, and to find suitable outcomes to align with operational requirements of the business.
- Proven ability in scoping similar projects and systematically determining how to implement and supervise the creation of technical water and sewerage projects.
- A current Victorian driver’s licence is essential.
