Girri Birrang Infrastructure is seeking a highly motivated Senior Project Engineer or Project Manager to join our expanding team. In this pivotal role, you will lead and manage the construction of asphalt reinstatement and concrete pavements, ensuring projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive management for all aspects of asphalt and concrete construction projects, encompassing planning, scheduling, execution, and closeout.
- Oversee project budgets, guaranteeing cost-effective completion.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, adhering to established deadlines and milestones.
- Manage project teams, including subcontractors, engineers, and inspectors.
- Ensure compliance with all project specifications, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
- Conduct regular inspections to monitor quality control and proactively identify potential issues.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation for accurate record-keeping.
- Foster effective communication with stakeholders, including clients, engineers, and internal teams.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or relevant field.
- Minimum of five year’s experience in Senior Project engineering or project management within the asphalt reinstatement and concrete construction industry. Additional experience in civil construction an advantage.
- Proven track record in successfully leading and managing complex construction projects.
- In-depth understanding of asphalt and concrete materials, mix design, and industry-standard construction techniques.
- Strong understanding and proven application of project management principles and methodologies (e.g., PMP certification is a plus).
- Proficiency in project management software for efficient project execution.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to thrive in both independent and collaborative work environments.
- Strong work ethic with an unwavering commitment to safety.
