Your TeamYou’ll join a multi-disciplinary Tech Strategy, Enterprise & Solution Architecture team. The team supports all of Hollard’s technologies, our business architecture and our technology transformation strategy. Architecture as a practice has grown quickly in size since its inception in 2020. This is due to significant consolidation and acquisitions, along with an ambitious transformation agenda.
Your RoleThis role is a critical role in delivering our modern workplace and cloud strategy. Working closely with the Enterprise Infrastructure Architect, the Architecture team and the wider tech and business teams, you will apply a breadth of technology and business knowledge to help design new infrastructure solutions, in addition to seeking opportunities to bring forward the delivery of value to our customers by incrementally pushing existing solutions forward.
You will lead the successful delivery of new infrastructure initiatives together with developing architecture reference architectures, patterns, standards etc. Your primary scope will cover the domains of Infrastructure/Cloud and DevOps, Modern Workplace Productivity and Network & Security architecture. You may be asked to support other domains as required and appropriate
Your duties and responsibilities
- You will Contribute to the infrastructure domain architecture practice establishment and its maturity.
- Define and maintain technology solutions in alignment to Enterprise Architecture and Roadmaps.
- Create and maintain overall delivery roadmap for target business and/or technology domain area, covering legacy technology change control/decommissioning and strategic technology uplift/ remediation/onboarding.
- Define and promote technology solutions that have long term supportability, with clarity on legacy or existing implementation impacts and transition.
- Minimum 7 years of experience as an Infrastructure Architect, ideally with financial services exposure.
- Strong foundation in IT with core competencies in infrastructure and cloud hosting, and SaaS technology implementations.
- Have a successful track record on architecture work for strategic initiatives meeting quantifiable business outcomes and resulting in tangible impact for the organisation.
- Proven experience with implementation of modern and emerging technologies.
- Proven experience in leading business development discussions across cross‐ functional teams, engaging both internal and external stakeholders.
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert required.
