AddressOur client is within the manufacturing industry and they are looking for an Infrastructure/Data CentreSolution Architect who will be working on a key project to the business.
This is a 9 month contract with a hybrid working model (3-5 days in the office) and based in Darlinghurst or Smithfield. There is a chance of an extension as they have multiple projects and initiatives all starting soon. Looking to start immediately or within 2 weeks' notice for the right candidate. This role is looking to pay $1000-$1050/day inc super.
You will be working on a Data Centre project and primarily involved in the technical governance, design, documentation and establishing the processes for it. You will ideally need to be a little bit hands on at times and be open to doing some engineering work. Other areas include Networking and working with Wintel systems.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and implementation of designs for the Data Centre
- Provide technical governance, documentation and processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient architectures.
- Evaluate and recommend technologies, frameworks, and tools to meet project requirements.
- Develop and maintain documentation for Data Centre design, best practices, and standards.
- Collaborate with external vendors and partners to ensure interoperability and integration compatibility.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Infrastructure Solution Architect
- Experience working with Data Centre projects as a Solution Architect
- In-depth knowledge of Networks, Wintel and various Infra systems
- Strong background in designing and implementing solutions.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working for small to medium sized organisations with unstructured environments
- Experience with various architecture frameworks
- Able to liaise with C level and execs
- Able to work autonomously and is hands on.
- Ability to work 3-5 days a week in the office and commute.
