Working for a government department in Canberra, our client is looking for an Infrastructure Support Specialist. The role will be for 6-8 months contract. NV1 Clearance is required.

Scope of work:

• Virtual Operating Systems – Installing, supporting and monitoring VMWare-based Windows Server Operating Systems.
• Database Management – Installing and supporting MS SQL Server systems, including running query scripts.
• Applications Change Management in accordance with the Departments Change Management procedures.
• Hardware Support – the installation, diagnoses and remediation of  server hardware issues

Skills/Experience Required

• Experience with MS Server (various versions)
• Experience with VMWare
• Experience with common Microsoft technologies, such as Dynamics CRM, SharePoint, IIS and AD.
• SQL Server (including reporting Services).
• Experience working within a formal Change Management environment
• Management of solutions in compliance with Information Security Manual controls and privacy requirements up to PROTECTED level
