Injury Management Coordinator (Health and Wellness Skills Sought)

Georgiou Group is on the lookout for a dedicated Injury Management Coordinator to join our esteemed team. With a steadfast commitment to safety and our people, these operational pillars are integral to our 5-year business plan leading up to 2029. This role is not only pivotal in supporting these pillars but also in enhancing the overall health and wellness of our workforce.

Reporting to the Executive General Manager Shared Services, your key duties will be to:

Injury Management Coordination:

  • Develop and implement Injury Management strategies and standards in line with Georgiou's HSE Strategy and legislative requirements.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Foster a culture of safety and a positive attitude towards Injury Management across the business.
  • Provide consultative, solutions-based approaches to Injury Management.
  • Conduct capability assessments to support the return of injured workers to the workplace.

Health and Wellness Coordination:

  • Manage the development, delivery, and enhancement of the musculoskeletal injury prevention program.
  • Educate workplace leaders on supporting Health and Wellness programs.
  • Offer ergonomic and manual handling advice and support.
  • Innovate and implement health and wellness initiatives.
  • Create and distribute promotional and communication materials for health and wellness programs/initiatives.

What you're good at:

Apart from having a formal qualification in Injury Management or a related discipline. You should possess:

  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within the civil, construction, or engineering industries.
  • A proactive individual who excels in a dynamic and evolving environment.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • A consultative approach to safety and Injury Management.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Strong rapport-building skills with individuals at all organizational levels.
