We are currently working with a State Government entity, seeking an experienced Injury Management Coordinator to join their team on an initial 6-month contract.
About the role
Reporting to the Director, WHS, you will be responsible for end-to-end management of complex physical and psychological claims across the business. Additionally, you will coach and mentor leaders, upskilling their capability and skills in their knowledge of rehabilitation and case management, aiming to reduce claims and influence claims cost.
Other areas of focus will be:
- Working closely with the business to understand critical areas and analyse trends and develop learnings;
- Developing and designing intervention strategies to improve organisational health and wellbeing;
- Working across multiple internal stakeholders & external providers to deliver a holistic outcome; and
- Educating leaders on their role and responsibilities in ensuring the health and wellbeing of their employees.
About you
We are seeking an energetic, driven and approachable individual with ideally experience working in a government department, coupled with a solid background working as an accomplished Injury Management Coordinator. You will be self-motivated with a proven track record of reducing claim numbers and be committed to educating the workforce through exceptional communication, influencing and partnering skills.
