Injury Management Officer

30th March, 2024 Haylo People are currently recruiting an opportunity for a Injury Management Officer to  join a community services organisation based in Wollongong / Sydney NSW.  We are seeking a proactive, empathetic candidate who has the ability to develop and maintain the effective provision of volunteer and staff workers compensation claims, claims management, return to work programs, volunteer personal property claims, and associated reporting.   The Role: Develop, implement and maintain policy and procedures for Workers Compensation and Injury Management in compliance with Workers Compensation and Injury Management legislation.

Develop and facilitate injury prevention and management strategies in a high risk environment. Manage and coordinate the return to work of staff and volunteers to ensure the timely and seamless transition back into the workforce, including providing support and guidance immediately following injury or incident. Liaise with and provide advice to managers/supervisors concerning staff and return to work programs.
