About the Role
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic, confident, and vibrant Injury & Wellbeing Specialist to join our office in Dandenong on a fulltime permanent basis. Reporting to the National HR Manager.

Key Responsibilities of the Role:
- Partner with the business to provide specialist injury management support and build held and wellbeing capability in relation to workers compensation, early intervention programs, return to work and injury management.
- Ensure consistent and effective injury management and return to work advice and strategies are delivered to facilitate employee recovery and return to work.
- Proactively manage workplace injuries and Workcover injuries to improve performance and reduce financial impacts.
- Actively participate in and coordinate Workcover and non-Workcover injury management plans, claims reviews and assessments ensuring all legislative requirements are satisfied in full.
- Proactively support Managers and Employees across the business as illness and injury arises, providing advice and support on a case-by-case basis.
- Engage with, collaborate with, influence, upskill and manage key stakeholders through each instance to ensure the best possible outcome for the employee and the business.
- Identify potential hurdles and look to leverage resources available internally and externally to overcome those hurdles in a proactive and efficient manner.
- Apply health and wellbeing knowledge to identify trends and work with key stakeholders to implement initiatives to reduce and prevent workplace injuries and illnesses.
- An accredited Return to Work Coordinator
- A relevant tertiary qualification well regarded
- 2+ years in a similar role with a multi-site business
- Demonstrated experience in providing specialist advice and support across a business on health and wellbeing, workers compensation, injury management and early intervention.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Positive, supportive, and professional demeanour with the ability to negotiate and illicit the desired results.
