  • $106,787 - $ 114,910 base (pro rata for part time) + salary packaging + super + 5 weeks annual leave

The Women’s Innovate Reconciliation Action Plan builds on this work, seeking to continue to listen, learn, strengthen relationships with communities and work together to build the strong foundations and relationships that ensure sustainable, thoughtful, and impactful RAP outcomes into the future.About the roleReporting to the Director Systems Improvement and working closely with the Executive Sponsor for the RAP (Chief Operating Officer, COO), this high profile role will provide exceptional leadership to ensure the successful implementation of the deliverables defined in the Women’s Innovate RAP.Key deliverables will see you:
  • In partnership with the Executive Sponsor for the RAP, develop the Project Plan for the successful implementation of the Women’s Innovate Reconciliation Action Plan initiatives
  • Drive end to end project delivery through day-to-day management of activities against the developed project plan. This will include in many cases hands on development of the artefacts/deliverables (e.g. updating policies, processes, tools, writing communications, preparing agendas)
  • Lead the implementation of relevant education and training on the RAP Initiatives.
  • Prepare written reports to communicate progress and inform projects decisions, including briefings, discussion papers, project proposals and status reports to internal and external stakeholders, such as the Department of Health and Reconciliation Australia
  • Complete annual reporting of achievements and compliance with the Cultural Safety Framework to the Department of Health.
  • Conduct reviews and utilise analytical skills to clearly define possible solutions and opportunities or benefits to enable fact-based decisions.
  • Prepare funding submissions, business cases, proposals, and other correspondence to inform decision making by the Board, Chief Executive, Senior Leadership Team, governments, partners in the health sector and philanthropists.
  • Work with the Director Social Model of Health in the management of the Cultural Safety Grant funding.
About youYou will possess excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build strong, collaborative working relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.To be successful within this role you will need to:
  • ​​Identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander (Highly Desirable)
  • Possess a commitment to achieving culturally safe practice that is free from racism and united by deep respect for First Nations peoples
  • Demonstrate project management experience and knowledge and/or qualifications in one or more methods - Change Management, Project Management, Lean Process Improvement, Co-Design, Problem Solving and Facilitation
  • Demonstrate an ability to effectively set timelines and drive results to achieve targets, effectively balancing competing and/or conflicting priorities
  • Display strong written communication skills including written (formal reports and briefings) and proficiency in MS Office software
  • Possess a proven ability to build rapport, work collaboratively, partner and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders.

Selection Criteria Essential: Do you have knowledge and/or qualification in one or more methods - Project Management, Change Management, Lean Process Improvement, Co-Design, Problem Solving and Facilitation?
Desirable: Do you have experience setting up and successfully managing complex projects in a hospital environment?
Essential: Do you have extensive project management experience including theory and practice in project management leadership, co-design and partnering practices?
