Job description

When you join MercyCare, you join something bigger. A community of staff that make a difference at the heart of the community. As a leading Western Australian not-for-profit provider of aged care, family, community, early learning and disability services we support people throughout life’s journey. We invest in our people by building rewarding careers, offering training and development opportunities and a values-driven culture where our people can belong and thrive.

About the role

If you're someone who thrives on making a real impact, enjoys getting out from behind the desk, and relishes being a supportive team player, then you might be the perfect fit for this self-motivated team. We're in search of a hands-on and dynamic individual, an outstanding generalist, ready to step up as our Innovation Lead. Your role will be pivotal to our continued success, focusing on practical implementation and change delivery rather than just traditional Project Management. Experience in delivering change is key, and we're looking for the right person to join us in shaping the future of Aged Care Services through innovative and transformative leadership.

About you

You’ll have demonstrated change management experience and exceptional ability to engage and influence peers. With the ability to juggle priorities you’ll love seeing a project through from inception to completion. Your key experience will include:

  • Strong communication, collaboration and partnering skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability to navigate a dynamic work environment and respond effectively to changing circumstances.
  • Willingness to take a practical, hands-on approach to implementation, ensuring the translation of strategies into actionable results.
  • Experience working collaboratively within a team, providing support, guidance, and contributing to a positive team culture.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess current processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement data-driven solutions.
  • National Police Clearance (issued within the last six months)

About the benefits

You’ll join an inclusive, diverse and welcoming Western Australian based organisation focused on making a difference in the local community. In addition you’ll have access to:

  • Not for profit Salary Packaging options up to $18,000!
  • Childcare discounts for your little ones
  • Options to purchase additional leave
  • Career Pathways, Professional Development and Training
  • Comprehensive Wellbeing Program including discounted health insurance and free flu vaccinations
