GTE has an opportunity in Perth for an experienced Lead Control Systems Engineer to join the team. This role offers the chance to oversee and champion the implementation of various innovative projects for various Tier 1 mining clients.
Responsibilities:

• Drive the successful implementation of new Control Systems products and projects.
• Guide and mentor a team of engineers in programming, simulation, and testing across multiple software and PLC platforms.
• Selecting and working with bespoke hardware and software to build customised automation solutions.
• Identify opportunities for process optimisation and efficiency enhancement.

Experience & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical, Control Systems, or mechatronic engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in working with mobile or fixed plant machinery or related equipment.
• Familiarity with relevant regulatory standards and quality management systems.
• Proficiency in data analysis software and tools for processing and interpreting data.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
• The right to work in Australia.
