About The Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Insights, Data and Analytics Lead to manage a small dynamic team in a hands-on role where the focus will be to analyse Milwaukee's Data and requirements. You will work with key stakeholders to deliver insights and implement solutions which will enable Milwaukee to achieve its business goals and operational excellence.
Reporting to the Enterprise Data Manager based at our brand-new offices in Notting Hill your day to day will include:
- Provide leadership and support to a team of 3 direct reports
- Work with stakeholders including the Executive, Product, Sales, Marketing and Milwaukee Insights teams to deliver data driven insights and Analytics solutions.
- Understand the Data and Analytics pipeline and assist the business to prioritise projects.
- Act as the Technical Product Owner for Data and Analytics solutions, including supporting the Product Owners and project teams with Agile ceremonies such as Sprint planning and showcases.
- Champion existing solutions to the business.
- Provide training and coaching to business users and power users on how to interpret and utilise solutions.
- Support the business to measure outcomes based on data driven decisions.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to provide advice and guidance on potential analytics solutions and enhancements to existing solutions (including Dashboards and AI/ML opportunities).
- Build prototypes utilising analytics toolsets.
- Use data to answer key questions about the business.
- Work with the broader Insights, Data and Analytics team on delivering strategic outcomes through project deliverables.
About You
Ideally you will have previous experience leading a small team within the Data Analytics function and have a passion for helping business stakeholders make data driven decisions. In addition to the following skills/attributes:
- Data and Analytics experience in a consumer goods environment.
- A consulting background or desire to develop consulting skills.
- Understanding of Advanced analytical modelling (AI/ML).
- Experience performing root cause analysis on internal and external Data and processes
- Advanced knowledge of Qlik is highly preferable
- Advanced working SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases, query authoring (SQL) as well as working familiarity with a variety of databases.
- Great communication skills, and an excellent eye for detail.
- Technical expertise regarding data modelling, data mining and data visualisation.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information
- Experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment
- Experience with data preparation tools (e.g. Knime, Power Query, Power Pivot, Excel, Alteryx, R and Python) is advantageous.
- Experience interacting with cloud-based data platforms and services, such as AWS services, Snowflake etc.is a bonus
