Insolvency Intermediate Accountant

Job Description:We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Insolvency Intermediate to join our client's growing team at Insolvency Talent in Sydney, NSW. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with a strong background in insolvency to take the next step in their career and join a dynamic and supportive company.As an Insolvency Intermediate, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of insolvency cases, including both personal and corporate insolvencies. You will work closely with senior members of the team to provide support in all aspects of the insolvency process, from initial assessment through to finalization.Key Responsibilities:- Managing a portfolio of insolvency cases, including both personal and corporate insolvencies- Conducting investigations and preparing reports on the financial affairs of insolvent individuals and companies- Assisting with the preparation of statutory reports and documents, including creditors' reports and statements of affairs- Liaising with stakeholders such as creditors, debtors, and legal professionals- Assisting with the administration of insolvency appointments, including asset realization and distribution- Conducting research and analysis to support insolvency cases- Assisting with the preparation of court documents and attending court hearings- Keeping up to date with changes in insolvency legislation and regulations- Providing support and guidance to junior team members- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders- Contributing to the overall success of the company by actively seeking opportunities for business development and growth.Requirements:- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role, preferably within a professional services firm- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field- CA/CPA qualification or working towards completion- Strong knowledge of insolvency legislation and regulations- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to work independently and as part of a team- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills- Proactive and self-motivated attitude- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and insolvency software.Our client offers a competitive salary package and a supportive work environment that encourages professional growth and development.
