The Business
This international bank is a leader in the Australian institutional lending space. They offer products to both local and international clients within the Australian market across a diverse portfolio. Having established themselves as a strong local player they are constantly expanding their headcount and clientele.
The Role
Working within their credit team and reporting to the head of the department your duties will include:

• Formation of credit profiles to assess if clients meet credit policy
• Check financial covenants and control reporting
• Administration of credit profiles
• Credit policy updates
• Risk assessment of new and existing clients
• Credit profile reporting
• Check credit rating applications
• Liaise with internal teams to ensure credit files are accurate
• Ad-hoc support of wider credit department

Skills and experience
The right candidate is someone who has worked in the Institutional Credit space and has built efficient skills to work across multiple departments in banking. You will have the ability to work independently in the creation and maintenance of credit profiles and understand the complexities of institutional banking. Your background will include:

• 2+ years in institutional banking credit analysis
• Tertiary qualifications in finance, banking or a related field
• Excellent communication to produce and maintain credit profiles
• Good knowledge of credit policy
• Basic modelling skills
• Proficient in Excel
