About the role:
We're seeking an aviation enthusiast with a passion for teaching to join our team in Melbourne on a full-time basis. This Mechanical instructing role will be responsible for teaching the next generation of aircraft maintenance engineers.
In this role you will work independently to effectively instruct theory and practical requirements to students within the applicable trade stream. This role has a strong customer service focus and is key to providing exceptional support to our students and stakeholders.

You will be offered variety and autonomy and will be able to demonstrate your ability to be highly organised and proactive, as well as a strong problem-solver with an aptitude for fostering effective relationships with students as you take them on their learning journey.
- Certificate IV in Aeroskills or the ability to obtain the competencies associated with the Certificate IV.
- Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) or Licenced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (LAME) qualifications.
- A current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, or a higher recognised qualification in teaching/training is desirable.
- Ability to work both autonomously and within a small, close-knit team.
- Well-developed problem-solving skills and strong organisation skills, with the ability to deal with competing demands.
- Enthusiastic attitude with a passion for aviation.
- Experience working in the aviation industry, preferably at least 3 years.
