We provide a range of emergency, surgical, medical and general healthcare services, including maternity, palliative care, mental health, drug and alcohol, residential care, community health and state-wide specialist services to people and communities that are diverse in culture, age, socio-economic status, population and healthcare needs.About the roleAn exciting opportunity now exists to join the CSSD department at Yarra Ranges Health, Day Surgery Unit, on a Temporary Part-time basis, as an Instrument Technician Grade 3 or 4, 5 x 9.5hr shifts per fortnight, with no after hours, on-call or weekend service between Monday to Friday.You will be joining an enthusiastic team who have quality patient care and teamwork as their priority. The unit consists of two modern and well equipped theatres within the Yarra Ranges site and forms a part of the wider Eastern Health Surgical Program. Theatre lists include Ophthalmology, Oculoplastics, General, Urology, Gynaecology and Plastic Surgery.About youTo be successful in this role you will possess:

• A current Certificate 4 in Health - Sterilising Practice for Technicians and greater than 3 years' experience (full time equivalent) as an Instrument Technician is most preferable
• Highly developed interpersonal and leadership experience
• A strong commitment to high quality care
• The ability to work as part of a diverse team
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
