With a booming, culturally rich and diverse community, and less than an hour's drive from the CBD, Melbourne's North is fast becoming the place to be!The RoleAn exciting opportunity exists for an enthusiastic Grade 3/4Instrument Technician to join the team at Northern Health, Central Sterilisation Services Department (CSSD)This role requires experienced, goal achiever and a team player who has flexibility to work across both The Northern Hospital (TNH) and Broadmeadows Hospital (BH) in a rotating roster.To be successful in this role you will have:

• Experience of 1-2 years as Grade 3 in a Tertiary Hospital or equivalent
• Experience of 3-4 years as Grade 4 in a Tertiary Hospital or equivalent
• Good working knowledge of AS/NZ 4187 & NSQHS Standards
• Proven ability to prioritise work load and needs of consumers in a busy Central Sterilisation Services Department
• Competence in reprocessing Endoscopes
• Knowledge on loan sets processes and Theatre List Set-ups
