Partnered with our host ControlWorks, we are looking for candidates who are wanting a career start in an ever-evolving industry while completing a UEE31220 Certificate III in Instrumentation and Control.
These positions are full-time and based in Hornsby NSW.
JOB DETAILSControlWorks is an Australian owned company with over 20 years of market leading experience in Building Management Systems Integration. They are able to design, engineer, commission, install and maintain systems for areas as diverse as office buildings, schools, hospitals, art galleries and even Taronga Zoo. Their offices and operations are across both Australia and New Zealand.
You will be working alongside industry professionals while completing a blend of on-the-job training and theory coursework and working all over the Sydney region.
You will develop skills in building automation, commissioning HVAC, security, and lighting with your daily work involving installation, commissioning, servicing and diagnoses of equipment.

- A passion for the industry and wanting a career not a job
- Good numeracy and literacy skills
- Willingness to learn and a positive attitude
- Electrical aptitude and problem-solving skills essential
- Have an affinity for computers – following advances in technology
- Cert 2 Electrotechnology ideal but not essential
- Current driver's licence (P Plate minimum)
- A construction White Card (or be willing to get one)
- Excellent safety awareness
- Ability to pass a pre-employment Medical, Drug and Alcohol and Police Check
