You will be maintaining,installing,commissioning systems and/or products at customer sites in accordance with standard processes, procedures,safety guidelines.Ensuring appropriate planning and availability of materials,equipment per contract requirements. This position reports to the Field Service Manager and is based in Darra, Brisbane Australia.Your responsibilitiesCoordinating the preparation and control of all material, equipment and documentation needed for site activities, andorganizing them in accordance with contractual and supplemental documentationConducting detailed inventories and inspections to determine necessary maintenance and repairsTroubleshooting, repairing equipment, and recommending changes such as new equipment or modified procedures to improve performance and customer satisfactionProviding recommendations to management to improve operations and customer service. Ensuring the coordination with the customer for documentation required, safety coordination and planning.Supervising service activities performed by external resourcesPerforming on-site activities of maintenance and installation and commissioning according to contract requirements,applying safety health and safety ABB rules and taking in consideration the actual site conditionsPreparing all technical and work reports to be signed by customer representative. Refers to management for anyclarification required during the service activities, and notifying the quality team of quality issues discoveredEnsuring safe working procedures and practices are followed at all times including the wearing and maintenance of assigned Personal Protective EquipmentYour backgroundTrade / degree qualified in an Electrical or Instrumentation field with current full Australian Electrical LicenseSignificant experience in InstrumentationExperience in both maintenance and projects related work in the industrial, mining or power distribution sectorsExperience in Service within the Water & Wastewater industry, specifically with exposure to electromagnetic flowmetersGood hold on SAP, CCRP and MS Office and AutoCAD will be an added advantageAbility to provide technical support and training to a wide range of ABB customers and staffMore about usABB's Measurement & Analytics division is among the world's leading manufacturers and suppliers of smart instrumentation and analyzers.
