Insurance Adviser - Government

Your new company

Our client is a government organisation with operations across Australia. Due to the increase in workload, they are now looking to appoint 3 x General Insurance Specialists to join the team on an ongoing temporary assignment starting ASAP

Your new role

• Managing the investigation and assessment of new and existing Domestic & Motor policies
• Work alongside third parties and internal departments in relation to closing and settling claims
• Analyse policy coverage and determine acceptance of claims
• Provide exceptional customer service, respond to general insurance queries within agreed time frames and prepare written response on insurance matters
• Contribute to new and ongoing projects
• Collaborate with other team members and support management

What you'll need to succeed

• Given that this is a government organisation, you are required to be an Australian Citizen working in a similar role within a contact centre environment
• You will possess knowledge of domestic insurance products
• Have the ability to manage a large pipeline of work
• Attention to detail, relationship management and time management skills
• The ability to display empathy is a essential for this role
