The Team
Our Insurance & Health team is headed up by 33 industry leading principals across six states. Within the insurance space our award-winning team is known for producing high quality advice and delivering exceptional client service. The team handles claims across all major classes of insurance and acts for the biggest names in the insurance industry, both locally and overseas.
The Role
We are seeking experienced Workers’ Compensation Associates/Senior Associates to join our team in Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne. We have two roles available, with the source of work on offer being from either our Hobart or Perth teams and under the guidance of the principals in those offices; Alison Hay in Hobart or Colby Treasure in Perth. The roles will involve defending a variety of claims across workers’ compensation, motor accidents and general liability claims.
The Successful Candidate:
We would love to hear from you if you have the following skills, experience and attributes:
- previous plaintiff or defendant insurance experience (preferably in workers’ compensation);
- ability to manage own file load;
- ability to build strong client relationships with a focus on client service;
- strong communication skills;
- ability and enthusiasm to mentor junior practitioners; and
- collaborative and pragmatic approach.
