The Role:
We're seeking an experienced Insurance Broker to join our team. In this role, you'll play a pivotal part in establishing and nurturing client relationships, offering tailored advice, and ensuring their insurance needs are met with the best solutions available. While providing and receiving support from Junior team members.
Key responsibilities include:
- Build strong relationships with existing clients to understand their insurance needs and provide proactive, personalised advice.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Craft comprehensive insurance proposals and negotiating terms.
- Oversee renewals and essential reporting for our client portfolio.
- Liaise with insurance underwriters and external business partners.
- Provide guidance and receive support from junior staff
- Process renewals, lodge and maintain claims.
Skills & Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in insurance broking or a related role is preferred
- Ideally you have completed the Tier 1 and/or 2 Qualifications.
- You have strong knowledge of broking compliance requirements.
- You adopt a proactive approach to all aspects of account management, business development, and service delivery.
- You have strong attention to detail and proficient computer skills.
