We currently have a great opportunity for an Insurance Broker Associate/Account Manager to join a well-established Insurance Broking and Financial Services company in Canberra.  This position will work closely with the Senior Broker to manage new business referrals whilst maintaining existing relationships to further grow the portfolio. 

This opportunity would suit a self motivated individual who enjoys interacting with interesting clients from diverse backgrounds including Corporate and Commercial, Retail and high networth Investors. 

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing a high level of customer service to your clients.
• Maintaining effective relationships with clients, Underwriters and other key stakeholders.
• Sound technical knowledge of General Insurance product.  
• Completing renewals, endorsements and remarketing policies.
• Offering concise and informed general insurance advice at a competitive price.   
• Onboarding and supporting new business.

Ideally applicants will have:

• Ideally completed or undertaking Tier 1 qualification. 
• Experience within General Insurance ideally as an Insurance Broker or Underwriter, Claims etc. 
• Strong verbal and written communication skills  
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy and professionalism
• Enjoys working as part of a diverse team environment
