Individuals with strong knowledge of the heavy equipment insurance industry, a track record of delivering great client service and developing a portfolio of clients will thrive in this role.
The Role
As an Account Manager, interacting with our entire team, your responsibilities will include:
- Managing, retaining, servicing and growing current portfolios of clients and new business opportunities.
- Develop and deliver formal insurance program proposals
- Ensure a consistently high level of client service
- Maintaining debtor control
- Renewal review preparation and appointment
- New business enquiries
- Claims liaison/management
- Responding to quires raised by clients, insurers and other interested parties
- Keep informed of industry developments
- Ensure compliance with applicable legislation and adherence to Company policies and procedures
- Development of marketing initiatives and Financial Services in the public eye
Skills & Experience
- Sales-oriented with the capability of pursuing and closing sales of new and existing accounts
- Ability to meet objectives in a business environment
- Good organisational skills and an ability to work to deadlines
- Strong attention to detail & negotiation skills
- Ability to lead by example
- The ability to be flexible in a rapidly growing organisation
- Proven ability to work as part of a team and communicate cooperatively with team members
- Previous Insurance Industry experience within a broking environment
- Ability to maintain high standards and professional manner, diplomacy, confidentiality, presentation and excellent communication skills.
- Proficient in WinBEAT and Sunrise.
