Your role
We are currently looking for a Lawyer or Associate to join our Melbourne team, working on professional indemnity claims with partner Greg Carfoot and senior lawyers. This fast paced and dynamic role will require you to provide advice and representation in claims against a broad range of professionals including accountants, lawyers, financial planners, engineers, insurance brokers and others.
Ideally you will have Insurance litigation experience, however we are open to hearing from candidates with a litigation background and interest in pursing a career in professional indemnity.
What we are looking for lawyers who:
- are passionate and commercially astute with a genuine interest in building a successful career in professional indemnity;
- possess sound client and file management skills and understand the importance of providing technically excellent advice in a timely manner;
- practice with the maturity and self-motivation to be responsible for the day to day management of litigation files with the assistance of a mentor as appropriate;
- good team players who appreciate the importance of collegiality and collaboration.
