An opportunity is currently available for an experienced Insurance and Risk Specialist to join our Sydney team.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing the overall group insurance program
- Managing the annual insurance program renewal
- Reporting to the Board, Audit Committee and Risk Committee (as appropriate)
- Prepare insurance notifications to be submitted to insurance brokers
- Ongoing management of Insurance claims and notification.
- Provide responsive support to business units on day‐to‐day basis on insurance‐related queries.
- Manage the Group’s Medical Defence Organisation program, including alignment of cover
- Regular engagement with risk owners regarding risk culture
- Assist in Co-ordinate risk owners and their risk registers (quarterly)
- Assist in preparing Executive and Board Risk Committee papers.
- Manage incident and complaint reporting to business units, senior executives, and the Board’s Risk Management Committee.
- Manage the patient feedback inbox queries.
- Aid in processing, cancelling, and managing group bank guarantees.
About You
- Tertiary qualifications in Finance, business or other commercial streams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- A strong understanding of commercial and general insurance
- Experience in a similar role within a large organisation with complex risk and insurance requirements.
