Integrated Practice Lead - Perth Location
Looking for an opportunity for impactful work with a Not-for-profit organisation?
The City of Stirling is the lead organisation for the Naala Djookan Healing Centre along with Naala Djookan Healing Centre Members, Australian Childhood Foundation and other key agencies in the area.
Naala Djookan Healing Centre delivers an integrated, specialist service that supports women, children and families at risk of or experiencing family and domestic violence (FDV), to access the support and assistance they require to promote safe, healthy relationships and overall wellbeing.
The Healing Centre will play a key role in providing support to women and children, throughout their journey. The Healing Centre seeks to simplify access to specialist FDV and other support services through a range of integrated and specialist evidence-based services in one safe, inclusive, culturally responsive and welcoming location. Naala Djookan Healing Centre will provide a 'soft' entry point for women and children who are experiencing FDV, and who might otherwise be reluctant to engage with an FDV service as a result of the perception of shame and stigma associated with FDV. Whilst Naala Djookan Healing Centre will be accessible for all women, a priority focus for the Healing Centre will be engaging with and providing support for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and Culturally and Linguistically Diverse women, children and families.
