Western Hospital is seeking passionate, motivated, and fun people to join dedicated Integrated Services/Cafe Team. About the roles:

As an Integrated Services/Cafe Manager aspects of the role will include: 

• Delivering exceptional customer service.  
• Working across both the cafe' and integrated services
• Varied shifts from 7am - 10pm.
• Assisting with meal preparation, assembly, plating and delivery.
• Cleaning and maintaining crockery, cutlery, utensils, equipment and the premises in accordance with food safety and hygiene standards.
• Transporting patients and equipment.
• Cleaning patient rooms and the hospital environment in accordance with cleaning standards and procedures.
• Running of the Courtside Cafe along with a fantastic team.

• Minimum Essential requirement: Certificate 4 Hospitality Management
• Desirable: Diploma in Hospitality Management 

As an Integrated Services Manager the role will include but are not limited to: 

• Ensuring the smooth, timely and consistent delivery of cleaning/catering services. 
• Assisting the Integrated Services Coordinators in the training and development of new and existing staff. 
• Being the point of contact for cleaning and/or catering services during your shift. 
• Ensuring adherence to food safety standards and HACCP. 
• Ensuring adherence to Cleaning and Infection Control Standards, cleaning procedures, and schedules. 

What we are looking for: 

Our ideal candidates will be team players who have a positive and absolute can-do attitude and excellent customer service skills. Other key requirements include:

• Catering and/or cleaning experience in a Healthcare or Hotel setting is preferred but not essential. 
• Excellent time management and attention detail with a flexible approach to work 
• Strong work ethic with the ability to learn. 
• Availability to work full time
• Unlimited Work Rights in Australia. 
• Current and valid National Police Clearance and Working With Children Check (or be willing to obtain). 
• Previous Barista experience (highly regarded)
• Proven catering and/or cleaning experience in Healthcare, Aged Care or Hotel setting (previous experience in Team Leader role will be highly regarded).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
• Proven ability to work well within a team and independently.
