Integrated Services Manager/Cafe Manager
Western Hospital is seeking passionate, motivated, and fun people to join dedicated Integrated Services/Cafe Team. About the roles:
As an Integrated Services/Cafe Manager aspects of the role will include:
- Delivering exceptional customer service.
- Working across both the cafe' and integrated services
- Varied shifts from 7am - 10pm.
- Assisting with meal preparation, assembly, plating and delivery.
- Cleaning and maintaining crockery, cutlery, utensils, equipment and the premises in accordance with food safety and hygiene standards.
- Transporting patients and equipment.
- Cleaning patient rooms and the hospital environment in accordance with cleaning standards and procedures.
- Running of the Courtside Cafe along with a fantastic team.
- Minimum Essential requirement: Certificate 4 Hospitality Management
- Desirable: Diploma in Hospitality Management
As an Integrated Services Manager the role will include but are not limited to:
- Ensuring the smooth, timely and consistent delivery of cleaning/catering services.
- Assisting the Integrated Services Coordinators in the training and development of new and existing staff.
- Being the point of contact for cleaning and/or catering services during your shift.
- Ensuring adherence to food safety standards and HACCP.
- Ensuring adherence to Cleaning and Infection Control Standards, cleaning procedures, and schedules.
What we are looking for:
Our ideal candidates will be team players who have a positive and absolute can-do attitude and excellent customer service skills. Other key requirements include:
- Catering and/or cleaning experience in a Healthcare or Hotel setting is preferred but not essential.
- Excellent time management and attention detail with a flexible approach to work
- Strong work ethic with the ability to learn.
- Availability to work full time
- Unlimited Work Rights in Australia.
- Current and valid National Police Clearance and Working With Children Check (or be willing to obtain).
- Previous Barista experience (highly regarded)
- Proven catering and/or cleaning experience in Healthcare, Aged Care or Hotel setting (previous experience in Team Leader role will be highly regarded).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to work well within a team and independently.
