About the OPPORTUNITY
We have a new opportunity for an Integration and Test Engineer to join our program based in Melbourne, reporting to the Integration and Test Lead.
We embrace flexible work arrangements at BAE Systems Australia, such as working a 9-day fortnight and hybrid working.
You will be responsible for crafting and maintaining integration-related documentation, including plans and Test reports, and actively participating in reviews and milestone events.
Working across all aspects of configuring equipment and products to specified parameters, executing set-to-work and Test procedures to identify any issues, and collaborating with relevant functions and stakeholders to ensure swift resolution.
Key responsibilities include:
- Provide Integration and Test effort to HFS projects as allocated by the Integration and Test Lead.
- Ensure risks are discussed with the Integration and Test Lead and relevant Project Engineering Manager, and captured in the project's risk register.
- Actively participate in Integration and Test team activities, such as meetings.
- Undertake out-of-standard-hours activity occasionally to accommodate the cyclic workload nature, for example, traveling for business.
- Formal qualifications in a relevant engineering discipline
- Strong collaboration skills, capable of working effectively with others and collaborating across teams.
- Effective communication, able to interface with a range of teams and communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
- Experience in electronic hardware & software and, Integration and Test Engineering
- Chartered Professional Engineer
- Australian Government Security Clearance to Negative Vet Level 1 or eligibility to obtain
