Form of work Our Client, a Financial Services Software and Managed Services provider, is looking to fill a permanent position for a Solution Architect in it's office in Adelaide, Australia. The Solution Architect will be responsible for designing, describing, and managing application/solution integration activities that meet the specific business needs of the Client.

At least Australian Permanent Residence working rights,
At least 3+ year's relevant local working experience.
The Solution Architect will examine current systems architecture and work with business and technical staff to recommend solutions, involing the following activities:
Analysing current technologies used within the business and determine ways to improve,
Document and monitor requirements needed to institute proposed updates,
Work closely with Infrastructure teams to ensure solutions are fit for purpose,
Account for possible project challenges on constraints including, risks, time, resources and scope,
Work closely with project managers to successfully monitor progress of initiatives,
Provide detailed specifications for proposed solutions,
Define clear goals for all aspects of a project and manage their proper execution.
Key skills and experience required for the role:
Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering,
At least 5 years experience in a Solution Architecture role in an Agile IT environment,
Leading and managing financial services solution design and implementation,
Must have at least 4 years experience in designing and architecting integration solutions,
Experience in integrating Core Banking applications would be highly desirable,
Exposure to banking system software and modern API-driven integration practises.
Experience with Boomi and/or Mulesoft integration platforms is key,
Excellent and effective verbal and written communication skills,
Excellent interpersonal skills,
Very good administrative, organisational and time management skills,
Ability to multitask in a fast paced, professional environment,
Strong attention to detail,
Ability to quickly and adequately understand customer requirements.
