Our Group Enablement Teams are the Technology, Business Enablement, Value Chain and Replenishment experts developing new capabilities and platforms for a better retail future. We're the crucial link between our stores and the stock they need, the IT engine moving our business forward, the strategic connectors streamlining the way we work, and the forward thinkers using tech to transform the retail experience. What you'll do
In this role you'll be instrumental in leading the design, guidance, and implementation of Integration Solutions to meet our organisation's diverse and intricate technical landscape. You'll be responsible for providing expert advice and direction for establishing an efficient technical environment to fulfill integration service requirements. This involves effective coordination, strategic planning, and seamless software integration implementation, encompassing native and third-party applications.
- Enable critical group Buying and merchandising, Pricing and promotions, Finance & corporate capabilities through our technology platforms.
- Ensure the smooth connection of applications, data, files, and business partners across cloud and on-premises systems
- Collaborate extensively with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, IT departments, and developers, to deeply comprehend integration prerequisites, business aspirations, and technical constraints.
- Partnering with key stakeholders on the architectural vision
- Architect, design, and craft Integration Solutions and patterns that facilitate fluid data and process flow among diverse systems, applications, and platforms across the Group Technology function.
- Develop comprehensive integration roadmaps, meticulously outlining the sequence and timeline of integration initiatives, while considering dependencies, potential risks, and resource availability.
- Forge a strong alignment between integration architecture and broader technological landscape and strategic objectives through close collaboration with enterprise architects
- Proven track record (10+ years) in Technology Consulting / Advisory
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence at a Snr level.
- Some understanding and knowledge of diverse integration patterns, protocols, and technologies, including REST, SOAP, APIs, ESB, ETL, microservices, etc.
- Extensive familiarity with enterprise architecture principles and practices, including service-oriented architecture (SOA) and event-driven architecture (EDA).
- Proficiency with both on-premises and cloud-based integration platforms, such as Tibco, Webmethiods Cloud streams, Azure DataFactory, Google PubSub, Azure Functions, event hubs, etc.
- Proven history of aligning technical solutions with overarching business strategies and objectives.
