ABOUT THE ROLE
Intelligence Services assists the Corrective Services Division of the Department of Justice (the Department) to meet its mission by informing tactical, operational and strategic decisions in respect of security and safety through the:

  • Collection of unique and relevant intelligence;
  • Sound intelligence assessment and advice; and
  • Timely dissemination to the appropriate audience.
The Intelligence Analyst analyses intelligence and information collected by the Intelligence Collection Branch and via other avenues, undertakes assessments, and determines trends and highlight target areas. The Intelligence Analyst also creates quality tactical, operational and strategic intelligence products for departmental decision making.

  • Ability to produce high quality and timely strategic, tactical and operational intelligence products in the form of assessments, reports and advice to support Departmental decision making;

Special Requirements
We may use other assessment methods where you may be required to undertake skills-based assessments. These may include simulation tests designed to assess your comprehension and analytical skills, and oral presentation abilities.
Pool Recruitment
This pool will be open for a period of 12 months from the day after the breach of standard claim period closes. Permanent Full Time appointments may be offered as vacancies arise; however, an appointment is not guaranteed.
