About the role
Queensland Rail have an exciting new opportunity for an Interface Advisor to join the Queensland Train Manufacturing Program team in Brisbane CBD on a 4-year fixed term basis.

The Interface Advisor will provide crucial guidance and support to ensure project requirements and deliverables aligns with Queensland Rail SEQ Asset Delivery project expectations and QR/ Government standards. The Interface Advisor will be a key link between QR and third parties, sourcing important information from various stakeholders and effectively present back to program partners.


Day-to-day responsibilities of this role will include
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, keeping updated on project progress and conducting research into required subjects/ concerns.
• Coordinate and monitor consultations and communications with councils, unions, statutory authorities and other stakeholders in relation to the project as part of the OnQ process.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and consult regularly with internal and external stakeholders including; unions, government agency, external contractors in relation to project deliverables and Queensland Rail operational requirements.
• Produce and present reports to Management and stakeholders on project progress, with particular emphasis on schedule, requirements and interface issues.

About you
• Previous experience/ good knowledge of working within rail or transport industry.
• Proven planning, analytical and problem-solving skills to draw solutions to challenges and projects.
• Excellent communication skills - with ability to establish and develop working relationships with a vast range of stakeholders.
• Ability to be agile and highly adaptable to changing plans/ targets
